Basic Terms in Cryptography::

v Plain Text and Cipher Text

v Cipher

v  Encryption

v Decryption

v Keys

The description of the above terms:

PlainText and CipherText:

In general the plaintext known as original message and CipherText known as coded message or encrypted information.

Plaintext is the original(main) message before being transformed.

But when the message is transformed, it is called ciphertext.

An encryption algorithm transforms the PlainText in CipherText and  a decryption algorithm transforms the ciphertext back into the plaintext.

Basic operation:

Example:

If a plaintext:    Tanim

CipherText:    mogoix
